The WACE (Western Australian Certificate of Education) is the senior secondary certificate for Year 11 and Year 12 students in Perth, Western Australia. It is the path to achieving an ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) which is used for tertiary entrance into university or other post-school qualifications.
The WACE curriculum covers a broad range of subjects that focus on both knowledge and skills development. This includes English, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Health & Physical Education, Languages Other Than English (LOTE), Creative Arts and Technologies.
Studying for the WACE exams can be challenging but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Effective study strategies such as understanding course content thoroughly, finding a quiet place to study, and breaking up study sessions into manageable chunks are essential for success.
